Bring more laughter into your life

Do you have a sense of humor? Maybe it’s time to take it seriously.

Try ridiculing your day-to-day irritations, try laughing at your day-to-day fears, try bringing humor to your day-to day stresses. And realize how small and harmless they become.

Have a good cry if it feels like it – grief can be a doorway to your deepest self.

As long as your sense of self is focused on your emotional pain, you will unconsciously resist or sabotage any attempt that you might make to heal that pain. When you are so attached to that pain that you identify yourself with it, you cannot become free of the pain. To realize this can be quite shocking but it’s also the first step in breaking that attachment.

After you’ve noticed this, give yourself a little time and space to wash your soul – a good cry often helps.

Let go of the need to control be willing to trust that there is a Divine plan for you. Trust its wisdom.

Before anything else, notice your own resistance. Your ego believes your strength resides in having control when, in truth, this need to be in control cuts you off from Being truly present, opened to the world of gifts and possibilities that are offered to you every day. That’s the only source of your true power.

Be patient - sometimes it’s wise to pass up good for Great.

Be willing to slow down specially when you are all driven into taking action, initiating change and achieving goals. When you slow down, a completely different quality of being flows into what you do. Slowing down allows you to see more clearly what needs to be done so that, when you take action, you start by one thing at a time and you focus on one thing at a time.

Believe me, you will do so much more!

Charge forward – be willing to make mistakes. They are part of your journey!

If you have lived long enough, you know by now that often things can go wrong, mistakes happen as a consequence of our choices. So what? It’s precisely at those times that you need to practice your inner acceptance of what is, what cannot be changed. Don’t waste your time feeling pain and sorrow for your past life. Pull yourself together and focus on the new choices that you can make from now on. Charge forward, try again!

How wonderful is this?

Take a risk – the power you have within can make you move mountains!

Decide to take an action but give more attention to the action itself than the result that you want to achieve through it. Focus your full atention on whatever that moment brings you. This means that you are willing to accept what is, because you cannot give your full attention to something and at the same time resist it. Before you realize it, your excuses are gone, your path is clear and you’ve moved your mountain!

How cool is this?
